Vote "Yes" On Children's Health Care!
As a first step towards health care for all, Congress has taken up the State Children's Health Insurance Program bill which will protect the coverage of 6 million children in America and extend it to 4 million more. The House of Representatives has already passed the bill, and the Senate is expected to vote on it today or tomorrow. It is a good thing to expand coverage now, but we have to stop the piecemeal, incremental reforms, and the good news is that the 111th Congress and the new Administration understand this.
